Doylestown Food Co-op Presents Screening And Live Discussion Of Fed Up

The film, which begins at 7 p.m. on March 26, takes a critical look at the food industry.

The Doylestown Food Co-op is hosting a screening and live discussion of the movie Fed Up on March 26 at The County Theater on State Street.

The Farm Fresh film, which begins at 7 p.m., takes a critical look at the food industry. The event will include a live discussion with local experts following the screening.

Some of the experts expected to be part of the discussion are pediatric nutrition specialist Michelle Verona-Williams; Dr. Deborah Bernstein, Dr. Michael Cawley, Mary McDonald and Josh Tyler.

According to Doylestown Food Co-op, Fed Up is the “film the food industry doesn’t want you to see” and “will change the way you eat forever.” The film includes television host Katie Couric, producer Laurie David, who won an Oscar for An Inconvenient Truth, and director Stephanie Soechtig.

A large crowd is expected so the Co-op stresses to buy tickets as soon as possible. Tickets, which are $8 for Co-op members and $10.50 for general public, are available online.
