Doylestown Health Offering Stroke Risk Assessment
Organization also sponsoring Sleep Apnea screening

Doylestown Health is sponsoring a pair of health screenings this month for area residents.
Doylestown Health, along with the American Stroke Association, is offering a Stroke Risk Assessment on April 14 from 4-7 p.m. in Conference Room J at the Doylestown Hospital.
This first screening includes risk assessment, a check of blood pressure and pulse, and auditory evaluation of blood flow in the neck.

Doylestown Hospital is located on 595 West State Street in Doylestown. Appointments are required. Call 215-345-212 to register.
Doylestown Health is also offering a Sleep Apnea Screening on Wednesday, April 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Health Connections in the Cowhey Family ShopRite in Warminster.

Laurence Stone, DDS, will conduct non-invasive screenings for obstructive sleep apnea, which affects how a person breathes while sleeping. Sleep apnea can be associated with serious medical consequences, including high blood pressure and heart failure.
The ShopRite is located at 942 West Street Rd. in Warminster. Appointments are required for the free screening. Anyone interested can call 215-672-1870 to make an appointment.
