Doylestown Man Dies in One-Vehicle Accident

A Doylestown man died in an accident in Gaines Township on Monday, according to the Star Gazette.

John J. Stachel, 71, was pronounced dead at the scene after being involved in a one-vehicle accident on Shin Hollow Road.

The Wellsboro Gazette reports that Stachel suffered sudden heart failure while driving. According to the report, state troopers said Stachel’s vehicle traveled off the road and rolled over after making contact with an embankment.
