Doylestown Youth Fishing Program Sets Key Dates For 2019 Season
Spring is just around the corner, which means it's almost time for the Doylestown Youth Fishing Program. Here are some key dates:

Spring is just around the corner, which means it's almost time for the start of Doylestown Youth Fishing Program.
A clean-up day is scheduled for Saturday, March 16 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The rain day for the clean up day is Sunday, March 17. Volunteers are needed. The borough asks volunteers to bring rakes.
Then on Wednesday, March 27 at 11 a.m., fish will be delivered. Families are invited to bring their children to help put in the fish. Plus, pizza will be donated by local businesses, including Weis Markets, Nat’s, Domino’s Pizza, and Dominick’s Pizza.

The Opening Day Youth Fishing Derby is set for Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 8 a.m.
The Opening Day event is free for children 16 and younger. There will be free food, including burgers, hotdogs, soda, and water ice from Annie's Water Ice.

There are two 2019 fishing days scheduled for seniors, handicapped and veterans: April 27 and May 18 at 8 a.m. Rods and bait are provided if needed. Plus, there will be free sandwiches.
As always, donations are needed to keep the popular borough fishing program thriving. Donations, which are tax deductible, can be sent to: Friends of the Borough Dam, Doylestown Borough Hall, 57 West Court St., Doylestown, PA 18901.
