Doylestown's Barn Nature Center Closing For Good
The nature center said it is with "immense sadness" that they share the news the facility will close permanently on March 16.
DOYLESTOWN, PA — Doylestown's Barn Nature Center will close for good this month due to "unforeseen financial concerns," an announcement from the organization said.
The nature center said it is with "immense sadness" that they share the news the facility will close permanently on March 16.
"We would like to thank everyone in our community for all of their love and support over the years," the announcement on Facebook said.

"The Barn Nature Center has grown from being just a little private therapy program, opened in 2012 in the historic Barn on Almshouse road, to being the big booming program it is today, only through the support of our patrons in Bucks County and beyond," the announcement said.
The animals currently residing in the Barn Nature Center will be moving on to "carefully chosen and responsible homes," the nature center said.

To celebrate the center's final days, there will be a free open house event on Friday, March 13 from 5 -8 p.m. The facility is located at 1283 Almshouse Rd, Doylestown.
