Free Emergency Preparedness Seminar On Monday In Doylestown
Seminar leaders will explore the topic, "Do I Need To Be Prepared? A How-To For Your Home And Business."

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA ? Doylestown Borough will hold its next Emergency Preparedness Seminar on Monday, March 24 beginning at 7 p.m. at the Doylestown Borough Hall.
The topic will be, "Do I Need To Be Prepared? A How-To For Your Home And Business."
The free seminar will outline ways to protect your home or business against weather-related emergencies and what supplies you should have available to make it through. Seminar leaders will also be discussing what individuals can do to help others following weather emergencies and other disasters.

The class is free for anyone who lives, worships, or plays in and around Doylestown Borough. To register for the seminar, click here.
In February, the Doylestown Borough Council voted unanimously to formalize its preparedness by establishing an Emergency Preparedness and Communications Board.

The purpose of the new board is to keep Doylestown Borough Council informed of the level of emergency preparedness in the borough, communications, and to develop, recommend, and execute strategies to educate, prepare, and raise the preparedness level of residents and businesses.
"We've been working on this for a number of years and it's good to get this over the hump," said Councilman Larry Browne.
