Head-On Crash Closes Rt. 202 Parkway, Walking Path In Warrington
Two people were injured in a serious head-on car crash Wednesday morning, which closed a portion of the Route 202 Parkway and walking path.
WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Two people were injured in a serious head-on car crash Wednesday morning, which closed a portion of the Route 202 Parkway and walking path.
The crash happened between County Line Road and Route 152 shortly before 8 a.m. at a curve in the roadway, Warrington Township Police said. One car ended up on the walking path, police said.
The Route 202 Parkway (including the walking trail) will be closed in both directions for an "extended" period of time for the crash investigation, police said Wednesday morning.

Drivers asked to avoid the area.
Both cars were occupied only by drivers and moderate to severe injuries were reported. Two people were transported to Abington Trauma Center by Chalfont and Warrington Ambulance.
