Investigation Continues Into Crash That Killed 3 Teens In Bucks Co.: What We Know
The lone teen survivor of the crash - a 14-year-old boy - continues to fight for his life at a Philadelphia hospital, police said.
WARRINGTON, PA ? Police in Bucks County are continuing to investigate the cause of a crash Friday night that killed three teenagers and left a fourth fighting for his life.
Warrington Township Police on Sunday reported that the 14-year-old boy - the lone teen survivor of the crash - remains in the Intensive Care Unit at a Philadelphia hospital, where he is receiving treatment following surgery on Saturday.

The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 2600 block of Bristol Road when a Toyota Camry and a Ford Explorer crashed in the area of the former Fox Acute Center.

Police have not released the names of the three juveniles who were occupants of the Camry or any additional school affiliations.
The driver of the Ford Explorer was not hurt in the crash, police reported.
The Investigation
The Bucks County Crash Team, in coordination with Warrington Township Police, is expected to conduct a full inspection of the two vehicles on Monday as part of its ongoing accident reconstruction process.
A very preliminary investigation based on the scene evidence and witness accounts suggests that the Toyota Camry was traveling eastbound on Bristol Road, while the Ford Explorer was traveling westbound. As the Camry approached a downward crest in the narrow roadway, investigators said it appears the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to cross into the path (westbound) of the oncoming Explorer.
?Please understand that comprehensive crash investigations take time, and final findings are not expected for an extended period,? police said. ?Preliminary information reflected some of the details available to investigators at that stage of the investigation. We appreciate the community?s continued patience and understanding as this investigation proceeds.?
