Latest PA Snowfall Estimates, Timing For Sunday Storm
Here's how long this round of snow will last, and how much you can expect to fall in Eastern Pennsylvania:
EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA — A fast-moving coastal storm is expected to drop 3 to 4 inches of snow in Eastern Pennsylvania on Sunday. The storm is expected to last through the afternoon, with snow stopping by 4 p.m.
Forecasters early Sunday slightly reduced the estimated snowfall totals expected from the storm. The estimates were downgraded after overnight temperatures were warmer than predicted, forecasters with the weather service said.

Snow rates of 1 to 3 inches per hour are possible at times in the heaviest snow bands on Sunday morning. "This may result in treacherous driving conditions," the National Weather Service warned.

A Winter Storm Warning is in place through 7 p.m. Sunday.
The latest winter weather comes after a Nor'easter walloped the region on Monday, leaving more than 30 inches of snow in some parts of Eastern Pennsylvania.

Today: Snow, mainly before 4 p.m. High near 32. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. Total daytime snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.
Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 18. Northwest wind around 10 mph.
Monday: Sunny, with a high near 29. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon.
Monday Night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 21. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph after midnight.
Tuesday: Snow likely before 11 a.m., then rain, snow, and sleet likely between 11 a.m. and noon, then rain likely after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 38. East wind around 5 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New snow and sleet accumulation of around an inch possible.
Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 25.
Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 32.
