Level 4-9 Quakertown gymnasts from YMCA of Bucks County compete

The Quakertown branch of YMCA of Bucks County recently hosted and participated in the Level 4-9 YMCA State Championships on April 13 and 14.

The Quakertown branch of YMCA of Bucks County recently hosted and participated in the Level 4-9 YMCA State Championships on April 13 and 14.

The branch played host to 271 competitors and over 500 spectators in the two day event. Quakertown placed well, winning 56 event medals and 9 all-around placement trophies with their Level 4 team placing third overall and their Level 9 team placing first as a team.

Level 4 gymnast, Ellie Brown, placed 1st on beam and floor, Victoria Angelino, placed 1st on Vault and Floor and Grace Bowen placed 1st on Bars. Level 6 gymnast Rhiley Poinktera placed 1st on floor and Level 7 Caitlin Ripka placed 1st on Vault.

The team will next compete at nationals in Wisconsin Dells, WI on June 18-23.
