A Look Ahead: Scenic Stroll, Early Literacy Event

The following is a listing of events and meetings scheduled this week in Doylestown:

Public Works and Administration Committee Meeting, Monday, April 6, 6 p.m.: The Public Works and Administration Committee will meet in the Borough Hall Conference Room on Court St.

Park and Recreation Board Meeting, Tuesday, April 7, 7 p.m.: The agenda includes state Department of Transportation Yard Park update, Summer Concert food vendor, and summer programs. The meeting will be held at the Borough Hall Conference Room on Court St.

Spring Scenic Stroll, Wednesday, April 8, 10 a.m.: The Doylestown Park and Recreation Board invites you to it 2015 Soring Scenic Stroll tours. This week’s stroll will be held in the Fonthill Woods. The meeting place, prior to the 10 a.m. walk, will be t the Moravian Title Works parking lot.

Revitalization Board Meeting, Thursday, April 9, 5 p.m.: The agenda includes the “Say Hello” program, DelVal Accepted Students Day, Bike and Hike Program, and the Doylestown Business and Community Alliance.

Early Literacy in Action-Vehicles!, Friday, April 10, 10 a.m.-noon: The Doylestown Library invites children ages 1-5 to bring their own toy cars, trucks and trains to visit the library. Come and explore a variety of fun, early-literacy based activities in this self-directed, action oriented stay and play. Event being held in Pearl Buck Room of the library.
