A Love Letter To Dustin Ceneviva

To celebrate Valentine's Day, we asked Patch readers to write a love letter to that special someone and let us deliver it. This is Amanda Ceneviva's love letter to her husband, Dustin:

Dear Dustin,

While our love story is not the most conventional, it is us! We met as teenagers, and let’s be honest, we did not like each other at all.

We met again when I was 19 and you were 21. You found me on Facebook, and we got to chatting —
nothing crazy, just getting to know each other. We finally decided to meet up, and that day you had your 9-month-old daughter with you and she immediately stole my heart. I was just out of a long-term relationship, as were you. Neither of us were looking for anything, but it turned into so much more!

We have now been married for six years with two beautiful girls of our own. Our lives are complete. We have been through so much in the last eight years together, it has definitely been a crazy ride. We definitely have had our ups and downs, and our fights, but I wouldn't trade this life for anything.

I love you more than I ever have. You have stood by me through my struggle with anxiety. You have supported my choices to help better myself. You have always been there for me. I could not ask for a better life partner. I know we are not perfect. We are perfectly imperfect! Nothing about our relationship is perfect, but it wouldn't be any fun if it was.

We have so many memories together. My favorite is still our first kiss at Lake Nockamixion. You finally got me out on a date, after my blowing you off twice! My second favorite is our trip to Florida together for the first time. Of course, having our beautiful little girls is a memory very dear to me.

None of the memories that have been made over the last eight years would be possible without you.

I love you, Dustin. Happy Valentine’s Day, and happy six year wedding anniversary!
