Man Rescued After Falling From Cliff at Ralph Stover State Park

A 59-year-old man had to be rescued after he fell while climbing a cliff at Ralph Stover State Park in Plumstead on Sunday, according to The Intelligencer.
The man, who was part of a climbing group, reportedly fell approximately 50-feet, and had to be rescued by the Point Pleasant Fire Co., using a stretcher basket and cable line. The man was airlifted to the Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia with multiple bone fractures.
According to the report, fire officials claimed the man was conscious and able to communicate to emergency workers the injuries he suffered in the fall.
