McAlister's Reopening, Firebirds Takes Flight In Bucks County

BUCKS COUNTY, PA ? There's a big helping of delicious news on the Bucks County restaurant scene this week.

Patch has learned that McAlister's Deli Restaurant and Sandwich Shop will be reopening on Nov. 20 under new management in Warrington while the first Firebirds in Bucks County will be making its debut on Monday in Lower Makefield.

McAlister's To Reopen Under New Management

McAlister?s Deli Restaurant And Sandwich Shop, which opened in March at Warrington Crossing only to close months later in September, will reopen on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 10:30 a.m. under new management. In a social media post, the owners of the Harrisburg McAlister's announced
that they will be taking over the ownership and management of the Bucks County eatery, which is known for its genuine southern hospitality, large deli sandwiches, giant spuds, fresh salads, soups and its famous sweet tea. Read More.

Firebirds Opening 1st Bucks County Location

Firebirds will open its first Bucks County location at Prickett Preserve near the new Wegmans supermarket next week. Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, the award-winning American restaurant and steakhouse, will open its newest restaurant on Monday at 924 Antique Alley. It's the 5th location in the Philadelphia area and the first in Bucks County. Read More.

The Boiler Room Adds Sunday Brunch

The Boiler Room, known for its exceptional food and expertly crafted cocktails at Dublin Town Center, is now serving Sunday Brunch. Every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., brunch offers guests an inviting menu featuring a balance of sweet and savory breakfast options, fresh salads, sandwiches, and a raw bar. Wawa Closes Drive-Thru Location In Bucks

If you go to the drive-thru at the Wawa in Falls Township, you won't be able to pick up a coffee or a hoagie any longer. After nearly four years, the standalone store in the Morrisville section of
Falls Township is permanently closed. It was the first of its kind in Pennsylvania. The Wawa drive-thru was located at the intersection of West Trenton Avenue and Pine Grove Road in Falls Township. It opened during the COVID-19 pandemic. Read More.

Restaurant Brings A Taste Of Thailand To River Town

Pru Thai, which has been serving authentic Thai cuisine for two decades in Clinton, N.J., has
expanded to a new location in the river town of Lambertville, New Jersey. The new Lambertville location on Bridge Street, which opened in October, features an intimate 30-seat dining room with a modern, sophisticated, and welcoming atmosphere and the carefully crafted menu that Pru Thai is known for.
