New Doylestown Ramen Restaurant Expects October Opening

If you're waiting for Rakkii Ramen to open, you'll have to wait a few more weeks.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — A new ramen restaurant and tea bar is opening soon on E. State Streetin Doylestown. The tea bar will likely open first, followed by the opening of the ramen restaurant, according to the business.

Rakkii Ramen representative Kevin Patton said the tea bar will most likely be open at the end of September. An early October opening is expected for the ramen restaurant, Patton said.

Rakkii Ramen has a location in Bethlehem. The spot received a positive review from The Morning Call's Glenn Koehler, who said in a January review the restaurant lived up to all the hype.

In addition to its Bethlehem location and the one coming soon to Doylestown, the Japanese noodle house has two others in the works. A store in Smithtown, N.Y. is planned, as well as one in New Brunswick, N.J.

The menu includes a variety of options, including ramen, udon, light appetizers, Japanese teas, and even two desserts: Mochi ice cream and black sesame panna cotta.
