New Warrington Wawa To Open Just In Time For Christmas

It won't be long now until Wawa customers are again picking up their coffee and their favorite Wawa sandwiches on Easton Road.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA ? The new Wawa near the busy intersection of Route 611 and Street Road in Warrington will open its doors just in time for Christmas.

Beginning on Dec. 20 Wawa customers will again be picking up their favorite Wawa sandwiches, pouring cups of freshly brewed coffee and grabbing a sizzli to go as a quick breakfast treat on the way to work.

They will also be able to fill up the car with gas thanks to the addition of a brand new Wawa canopy-covered gas station.

The store will celebrate its grand opening on December 20 with a ribbon cutting, a hoagie-building competition among emergency responders and complimentary coffee all day. Watch for additional details on Patch.

The new 5,585-square-foot superstore and six pump fueling station replaces the old 3,200-square-foot convenience store built in 1994 at 550 Easton Road. The old store closed in early February and was torn down to make way for the new superstore and gas station.

Wawa is planning to open 90 new stores over the next decade. Another new Wawa is under construction in Bucks County along the heavily traveled Newtown Bypass in Newtown.

Wawa, a family-owned business based in Delaware County, is known for its built-to-order hoagies, freshly- brewed coffee, the ?Sizzli? ? a hot breakfast sandwich - dinner items including burgers and fries along with soups, sides and snacks, and a full line of hot, iced and frozen specialty beverages. Wawa also carries more than 6,000 items including groceries, tobacco and candy.
