Newtown Police: Doylestown Woman Facing Pending DUI Charges
Woman taken into custody after being pulled over early Saturday
Newtown Police said they pulled over a driver Saturday for allegedly driving without headlights while traveling on Richboro Road.
Lauren Ann Abbott, 25, of Doylestown, was taken into custody around 1:45 a.m. after police believed she was driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.
Abbott was transported to Saint Mary Medical Center where police say she agreed to have blood drawn. The blood will be analyzed by the Bucks County Crime Lab, and charges of DUI are pending the results.
