Obituary: Ian Fay, 2018 Central Bucks East Graduate

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Ian Fay, a 2018 Central Bucks East graduate, passed away on Sept. 7, according to his obituary from Reed & Steinbach funeral home.

Fay had been diagnosed with cancer in 2018, a GoFundMe page created by a family member said.

At Central Bucks East, Fay was a member of the boys varsity track team. He also played the trumpet and was a member of several musical groups, his obituary said.

He was majoring in Sport and Recreation Management at Temple University at the time of his death.

"Many have described him as a funny, kind, sincere and amazing friend who genuinely cared. He will always be remembered as a thoughtful listener but also one you could count on for endless laughs, leaving a positive impact on all through his passion for life," his obituary reads.

Services are set for Sept. 21.
