Obituary: Rich Timmons, Plumstead Christian Grad, Dies At 42

Rich Timmons passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 13, 2018, surrounded by his wife and children. He was 42.

Rich was born on April 6, 1976, in Bucks County, PA to Rich and Julie Timmons. He attended Plumstead Christian School and graduated in 1994.

Rich’s love for horses started young. As a youth, he worked at Haycock Camping Ministries as a junior counselor; he became the camp wrangler at 18.

In 1997, he was given his first horse and started a business as a young horse trainer. He worked for several years based out of PA. In 2006, Rich relocated to Tennessee where he was soon to meet the love of his life and future wife, Sheri. They moved to Glen Rose, Texas in 2015.

Rich always had a servant’s heart. In all things, he put God first. He bravely led his family and friends closer to God. His legacy will always remain; a man of highest integrity, hard-working, kind, and disciplined.

Rich fought a good fight with grace and humility, he loved his family well, he honored his Lord and Savior, and blessed are those around him.

Rich is survived by his wife, Sheri; his children Tristan, Monika, Michaela, Justin, Nicholas, and Jacob; his mother and father; his sisters Jill (Mick) Watson and April (Eric) Masterson; aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents.

Please join us in celebrating Rich’s life at 10:30 AM on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Calvary Chapel Central Bucks, 150 E. Butler Ave. Chalfont, PA 18914. Visitation with the family will begin at 9:30 AM and a reception will be held immediately following the service. If desired, memorial contributions in Rich’s name can be made to Haycock Camping Ministries, 3100 School Rd., Kintnersville, PA 18930.
