Obituary: Scott Salley, 1997 Central Bucks West Grad, Dies At 40
Scott Salley, a graduate of Central Bucks High School West Class of 1997, died on Feb. 14. He was 40.

Scott Edward Salley, age 40 of Ocean Pines, MD formerly of Pipersville, PA passed away peacefully with his parents by his side on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD.
Scott was born in Langhorne, PA on November 18, 1978 to Scott George Salley and Susan Patricia (Baumeister) Salley. He was a graduate of Central Bucks High School West Class of 1997.
Scott had worked for Harris Teeter Food Market for the last 12 years, where he was the produce manager of the Long Neck store. He enjoyed traveling especially going on Carnival Cruises.

Scott was a car enthusiast and an avid sports fan that enjoyed watching the San Francisco 49ers, the Philadelphia Phillies, and the Villanova Wildcats. Scott loved Ocean City, MD, the beach, boating and clamming with his family and friends. He also enjoyed going to the casinos, playing poker and roulette.
Scott will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, friend and dedicated employee.

He is survived by his parents, Scott and Susan Salley of Selbyville, DE; two sisters, Kristin King and her husband, Eric of Quakertown, PA and Cheryl Spier and her husband, Andrew of Annville, PA; five nephews, Iain Spier, Brady King, Cole Spier, Liam King and Patrick King; his rescue dog Bo, and a host of wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins and great friends.
A visitation will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM on Friday, February 22, 2019 at the Ocean View Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 38040 Muddy Neck Rd., Ocean View, DE 19970, where a prayer service will be held at 1 PM. Scott’s family requests that you dress in CASUAL ATTIRE as Scott would want to celebrate his special life. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Dagsboro, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Scott’s name to the Richard A. Henson Cancer Institute, 11105 Cathage Road, Ocean Pines, MD 21811.
