Polinchock, a retired Navy commander and former realtor, was elected in 2018. He has highlighted his work providing state funding for clean and safe water for Warrington residents, along with launching a bus service between New Britain and Chalfont for seniors.

"We have more work to do," Polinchock told Patch in May. "I want to see State Government live within its means while continuing to grow the Rainy Day Fund."

Spillane is a retired business owner who vows to bring financial responsibility and fairness to Harrisburg.

"The challenges of pandemics, economic distress, addiction, and abuse have been ignored and underfunded for decades," Spillane said. "Harrisburg has allowed our water and air to be polluted, our roads and bridges to fail, and our veterans and seniors to struggle with inadequate health care."

Polinchock received just under 7,200 votes in the Republican primary, while Spillane received won 7,500 votes in the Democratic primary. Both ran uncontested.
