America's oldest person, Pennsylvania resident Delphine Gibson, has died. Gibson, a Huntingdon County resident, was 114.

The news was confirmed by Governor Tom Wolf's office. Gibson was born in 1903 and lived in Pennsylvania for more than 90 years. "She was an incredible Pennsylvanian and she will be missed," Wolf said.
The Robert D Heath Funeral Home in Mount Union said Gibson died Wednesday, according to CBS News. Lessie Brown, a 113-year-old Ohio resident, is now believed to be the oldest American.

Gibson was born in South Carolina and lived at Huntingdon Hills Nursing and Rehab Center for the last 14 years, Philly Voice reported. She became the country's oldest person in 2017, after Adele Dunlap died. Dunlap was also 114 at the time of her death.
Huntingdon Hills Nursing home unit manager Miranda Glover told WJAC-TV in February 2017 that Gibson took no medication except for a single daily vitamin.

"She has an amazing spirit," Glover said. "She always singing to us or sharing the gospel. She is a treasure to the nation."
