Police Conducting DUI Blitz In Bucks County Over Super Bowl Weekend
"We know everyone in Bucks County wants to celebrate. But before you do, please have a game plan for watching responsibly," said the DA.
DOYLESTOWN, PA ? "Fans don?t let fans drive drunk."
That's the message the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Pennsylvania DUI Association will be spreading this Super Bowl Weekend as they team up with local law enforcement "in an all-out blitz" for drunk drivers.
"The Eagles are back in the Super Bowl and we know everyone in Bucks County and the Philadelphia region wants to celebrate. But before you do, please have a game plan for watching responsibly," said Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn.

Law enforcement agencies throughout the county will be increasing patrols this weekend with the goal of keeping everyone safe on the roads.
"If you're hosting an event, be the MVP and make sure all of your guests have a safe ride home," said Schorn. "Use a ride-share program or a designated driver.

"Whether you are attending a party or going to a bar or restaurant, make a game plan and follow these simple tips for a safe and happy evening," she said.
- Remember it is never okay to drink and drive. Designate a sober driver or plan to use a ride service, call a taxi, or a sober friend to get you home safely.
- Be a responsible host and make sure none of your guests have had too much to drink.
- If available, use your community?s sober ride program.
"Enjoy the game, but most of all, be safe," said Schorn. "One more thing, 'Fly Eagles Fly!'"
