The U.S. War Dogs Association is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Burlington, NJ. "These retired dogs are usually adopted by a former handler or a military family. Often the dogs require expensive care and medications, so this program offers a true benefit to those families," according to information from Holiday House.

All donations to U.S. War Dogs Association are welcomed regardless of participation. Checks can be made out to “US War Dogs Association” and can be dropped off at the resort. Donations gathered during the event will support the organizations programs, including the Rx Program, which provides free prescriptions for enrolled retired military and working dogs.
