The event is the culmination of almost a year of work by the township and its Veterans Advisory Commission, PennDOT, and State Senator Steve Santarsiero, to secure the designation.
Their efforts paid off over the summer when Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro signed into law Act 17 of 2025, formally Senate Bill 78, designating the western roundabout at New Britain and South Easton Road as the Blue Star Family Tribute Roundabout and the eastern roundabout at New Britain and Sauerman roads as the Gold Star Tribute Roundabout.
