Sex And The City Author To Appear At Doylestown Bookshop
Sex And The City author Candace Bushnell will appear at Doylestown Bookshop for an in-person event on June 30.
DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Doylestown Bookshop, in partnership with the Bucks County House Playhouse, will hold a special in-person event featuring Candace Bushnell, the international best-selling author of "Sex And The City."
The ticketed event will be held in-store at the Doylestown Bookshop, located at 16 S. Main St, on Wednesday, June 30, at 7 p.m. Seating is limited to 60 guests. Masks are optional for fully vaccinated guests, and those not fully vaccinated will be required to wear a mask.
Published in 1996, Sex and the City was the basis for the HBO hit series and two subsequent films. One of her other books, "Lipstick Jungle", became a popular television series on NBC, as did The Carrie Diaries on the CW.

Her book, "Is There Still Sex In the City?" is currently in development as a TV series with Paramount. Bushnell's new book, "Rules for Being a Girl", is out now.
Bushnell will be appearing at the Bucks County Playhouse beginning June 22 in "Is There Still Sex In The City?" which she wrote and is starring in, staged by the BCP Artistic Associate and Broadway's Lorin Latarro.
