Patch caught up with Taylor Osorio, leasing manager of Stonington Farm Apartments, to learn how the beautiful and friendly community has been making residents feel like family over the past 26 years.

Patch: How long have you been doing business in town?

Osorio: Stonington Farm Apartments has been a proud member of the Doylestown community since 1991.

Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?

Osorio: Previously, I worked in hotels, and that customer service experience helped me realize that I wanted to have a position where I regularly interacted with my clients. When the regional leasing and marketing director of Chelsea Management reached out to me about leasing, it checked a lot of my boxes. I honestly love it!

Patch: If you had to sum up your business mission to a stranger in five words, what would those words be?

Osorio: Our mission is simple: Make everyone feel like family.

Patch: What’s the biggest challenge or most difficult moment you’ve faced in your job?

Osorio: The biggest challenge is making sure that the Stonington experience is nothing less than spectacular.

Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?

Osorio: As cliché as it sounds, I really like helping people. I get satisfaction from helping someone find the perfect apartment and making it feel like home. My residents are extremely important to me, so when I can assist them with anything — big or small — I’m elated.

Patch: How would you say your business or organization distinguishes itself from the others?

Osorio: The landscape of Stonington is incredible. Watching the leaves change during a stroll on the walking trail was a highlight of my autumn. Every inch of Stonington offers some element of natural beauty that you can rarely find in an apartment community.

Patch: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given when it comes to success?

Osorio: I live by advice that my father has given me my whole life: “Do your best.” I often dwell on imperfections and it’s in those moments that I remember that I don’t have to be the best, just my best. That’s the real definition of success.

Patch: Are there any new projects or endeavors you’re working on that you’re extra excited about?

Osorio: Since February, we’ve been working on updating our apartments. The new renovations are really modern and use a lot of stainless steel, white and light gray. They’re beautiful and I love showing prospects all the work we’ve done.
