Support For Trump Slips In Bucks Co: Town-By-Town Vote Totals

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Support for Donald Trump slipped in Bucks County during the 2020 election. Trump, the Republican incumbent who lost the state according to unofficial results, won 27 of the county's 54 municipalities in 2020. In 2016, when he faced Democrat Hillary Clinton, Trump won 34 of the county's municipalities.

Eight municipalities in Bucks County flipped from red to blue in the most recent election. Just one — Dublin Borough — went from blue to red, uncertified results show.

The municipalities in Bucks County that flipped from red to blue in 2020 are Buckingham Township, New Britain Township, Perkasie Borough, Plumstead Township, Sellersville Borough, Upper Makefield Township, Warminster Township and Warrington Township, uncertified results show.

President-elect Joe Biden on Saturday was projected by major media networks to win the race. Trump has not yet conceded.

Biden beat Trump by more than 16,000 votes in Bucks County, according to the uncertified results. In 2016, Clinton won the county but by a more narrow margin of approximately 2,700 votes.

Both candidates put forth a fervent effort to win the Keystone State and its 20 electoral votes, with Trump holding four campaign events —including one in Bucks County — in the state on Oct. 31.
