A perfect way to beat the heat. Every weekend through the month of June, you can check out live entertainment, food, drinks and family-friendly activities at the Peddler's Village Summer Block Party in Lahaska. The cost is free to attend.

Carbon Leaf, a blend of rock, folk, Celtic and bluegrass music, will perform at the Sellersville Theater on Friday, June 11. Show starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $33 to $45. Their performance will be followed up by King's X, a progressive metal and soul group, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $39.50 to $55.

The Brooklyn Charmers, a Steely Dan cover band will perform at the Pour House at New Hope Winery, 6123 Lower York Rd, New Hope, on Friday, June 11, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $35. Jared Mancuso and his classic rock-inspired band Not Fade Away will perform the following evening, Saturday, June 12, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $35.
Shady Brook Farm in Yardley is hosting "Summer Unwined Concerts" on select Friday and Saturday nights through Sept. 4. Screaming Broccoli will perform on Friday June 11, at 6:30 p.m.
Sip some wine and check out acoustic music from local performers Jim Nelsen, Erin McAndrew, Bunny Barnes and Words in Flight at the Crossing Vineyards & Winery, 1853 Wrightstown Rd, Washington Crossing. Nelsen and McAndrew will perform from 2-6 p.m., while Barnes and Words in Flight perform in the same time slot on Sunday. No cover charge.

What better way to enjoy a spring day than to spend time at one of Bucks County's farmers markets.
The Doylestown Farmers Market is held on South Hamilton Street between West Oakland Avenue and West State Street on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. through November.
The Wrightstown Farmers Market is held Saturdays on the Middletown Grange Fairgrounds, 576 Penns Park Rd, Newtown, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Help A Local Breast Cancer Charity
A backyard party with local music, food, drinks and giveaways to benefit the Corinne Sikora Wellness & Support Center will take place on Saturday, June 12, at 4:30 p.m. Requested donation is $40. Tickets can be purchased online or at the event, located at 374 Maple Ave, Doylestown.
Watch 'Gay Chorus Deep South' In Chapman Park
The Doylestown Pride Festival kicks off Sunday, and you can celebrate Pride Month by attending an outdoor film screening of "Gay Chorus Deep South" at Chapman Park in Doylestown. Gates open at 7:30 p.m., Sunday, June 13, and the movie will begin at dusk. Tickets are $10 for the public, $8 for County Theater members and $7 for children 17 and under.
