Town & Country Players Presents 12 Angry Jurors
Town & Country Players kicks off "Theater in the Park" Summer Season with 12 Angry Jurors at Hansell Park in Buckingham Township

On the weekend of June 19th and 20th grab your lawn chairs or blankets and head over to Hansell Park in Buckingham Township to enjoy what director, Andy McPhee, calls “one of the finest dramas ever written,” 12 Angry Jurors.
12 Angry Jurors tells the story of twelve jurors who must decide the fate of a 19-year-old man accused of murdering his father. The jury votes 11-1 that the man is guilty of the crime, but laws in the United States require a unanimous vote by all twelve jurors to pass judgment. The play brings the audience into the courtroom to watch the emotional and challenging deliberations in this high-stakes trial. McPhee explains that the jurors represent a microcosm of society and while the play was originally produced in the 1950’s, the jurors grapple with many of the same kinds of issues we continue to face today.
Admission to the “Theater in the Park” series is free, but donations will be accepted either at the show or through the web page http://townandcountryplayers.org/donate.html. There will be three performances of 12 Angry Jurors: Saturday, June 19 at 1:00pm and 5:00pm and Sunday, June 20 at 1:00pm. The Hansell Park amphitheater is located at 5069-5165 Hansell Road, Doylestown, PA. Rain dates are July 10 and 11.
