Warrington Township Declares Snow Emergency

With a winter storm just hours away, Warrington Township has declared a snow emergency.

WARRINGTON, PA — With a winter storm just hours away, Warrington Township has declared a snow emergency starting at 3 p.m. Wednesday and ending at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Cars parked on roadways that are designated as snow emergency routes may be ticketed or towed during this time, Warrington police said.

A winter storm warning remains in effect for Bucks County through mid-morning Thursday. Forecasters predict Wednesday's storm may bring up to two feet of snow to parts of eastern Pennsylvania. Snow is expected to begin in the afternoon at around 1 p.m. in Philadelphia and about 2 p.m. in Bucks County.
