Woman Arrested On Drug Charges: Warrington Crime Report
Police also arrest Philadelphia man for theft of groceries at Wegmans and a Lancaster women for possession of narcotics.
WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA ? A Philadelphia woman has been charged with attempting to smuggle contraband into a correctional facility following her arrest for violating a protection from abuse order.
On March 13, police responded to a home in the 800 block of Valley Road for the report of a woman on scene who was not permitted to be there.
Officers located Lauren Lee Minnick, 45, of Philadelphia, and confirmed she was violating a Protection From Abuse order.

Following her arrest, police discovered narcotics and paraphernalia during a search. Additional paraphernalia was found while she was in custody.

She was charged with contempt for violation of order, possession of marijuana, use and possession of drug paraphernalia, and contraband into a correctional facility.
Judge Gambardella set her bail at $400,000 or 10 percent cash. Unable to post bail, Minnick was taken to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

March 9
- Police charged a 44-year-old Philadelphia man with retail theft and receiving stolen property for a March 9 incident at the Wegmans store. The store's loss prevention officer told police that the man selected $262.82 worth of merchandise and placed it in a shopping cart. He then walked through a closed register lane and exited the store without paying. The man was arrested and transported to the station where he was processed and released.
March 10
- Police stopped a vehicle at County Line and Easton roads for a traffic violation. During the stop officers located narcotics and numerous pieces of drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. Officers placed a passenger in the car - a 26-year-old woman from Lancaster - under arrest. The woman was transported to the station where she was processed and released.
March 17
- In 2023, Rite Aid employees reported a retail theft to the police that had taken place earlier that day. The staff recognized a known shoplifter who entered the store, identified as a man with a history of thefts. He selected a cooler bag and filled it with merchandise valued at $286.64 before leaving the store without paying. Subsequently, Bucks County Probation and Plymouth Township Police identified the suspect as 58-year-old Christopher Whitley from Philadelphia. A criminal complaint was filed in District Court. Whitely was arrested in Philadelphia on August 9, 2024. Whitley attended and waived his preliminary hearing on March 17, 2025.
