ALERT: Freeze Watch Issued For Hatboro
Here are some "first freeze" precautions you should take that you might not have known about.

A freeze watch has been issued for Ardmore and surrounding areas, the National Weather Service announced Friday afternoon.
Temperatures as low as 28 degrees will hit the area from Sunday night into Monday morning.
All cold-sensitive plants and vegetables could be killed by the freeze, the National Weather Service warned.

The first freeze also brings good tidings, however: mosquito rates drop off sharply, and poison ivy is less likely, after temperatures plummet into the 20s.
