Dads, Grads Get Free Smoothies Sunday In Horsham

HORSHAM, PA — Graduates will get free smoothies and dads will get two-for-one on Sunday in Horsham.

June 21 is both Father's Day and National Smoothie Day. To celebrate, Planet Smoothie in Horsham offer free 16-ounce Lunar Lemonade smoothies to all graduates of any level and the same drink at buy one-get one for all dads, starting at 10 a.m.

The Planet Smoothie is located at 575 Horsham Rd. (Suite B-19) in the Horsham Corner Shopping Center.

Franchise owner Sherrell Oliver-Riley said she wanted to do something to celebrate local graduations and fathers on Smoothie Day, especially as the region begins to emerge from months-long stay at home orders.

"We did a similar offer last year for National Smoothie Day, and with it coinciding with Father's Day and a time when many people are doing virtual or non-spectator graduations, we wanted to do something nice for as many people in neighborhood as possible," Oliver-Riley said.

Both offers will be available until the store closes at 6 p.m. Buy-one, get-one purchase can be made on the Planet Smoothie app or by calling the store at 215-394-5217. Graduates can just call the store and arrange curbside pickup. They'll be asked to share where they graduated from so Planet Smoothie can celebrate the grads on social media.
