Get Free Chocolate Smoothies In Horsham

HORSHAM, PA — A smoothie might not be the first treat that comes to mind when you think of National Chocolate Day. But a store in Horsham wants you to come try one out — for free.

Planet Smoothie, at 575 Horsham Rd. (Suite B-19), will be giving away 16-ounce chocolate smoothies to the first 50 people through the door beginning at 5 p.m.. on Monday, Oct. 28.

The freebies will end after 50 smoothies are given away or 8 p.m., whichever comes first.

The featured smoothie will be the Chocolate Elvis energy smoothie, which includes cocoa, peanut butter, bananas, frozen yogurt, nonfat milk and an energy blast. The smoothie regularly sells for $4.95 plus tax.

"This chocolate smoothie has been a big hit since we opened last spring, and National Chocolate Day is a great opportunity to put this in the hands of those who haven't yet tried it," said franchise owner Sherrell Oliver-Riley. "It's delicious, and provides a great boost of energy when you need it during the day."

In addition to the giveaway, the smoothie shop will be hosting a Remix Fitness pop-up exercise class at 4 p.m. that day.
