Get A Free Smoothie In Horsham Next Friday

HORSHAM, PA — What better way to celebrate the first official day of summer than with a free smoothie?

Horsham residents will have a chance to enjoy just that on Friday, June 21. Planet Smoothie in Horsham will kick off its grand-opening weekend by giving away free 16-ounce smoothies to all guests from 2-4 p.m.

The new franchise is located at 575 Horsham Rd., Suite B-19, in the Horsham Corner Shopping Center.

The giveaway will feature a free Mediterranean Monster smoothie. The treat, on the chain's Planet Lite menu, features strawberries, bananas and orange juice.

"How are we not going to do something for National Smoothie Day at Planet Smoothie?" said franchisee owner Sherrell Oliver-Riley in a news release. "We've had an incredible first month in business in Horsham, and we're excited to give back to our incredibly supportive new customers for a couple of days. And we're super excited to present one lucky customer with free smoothies for an entire year."

That last part is part of the location's grand opening celebration.

On Saturday, June 22, customers will be offered a free "bump up" to the next largest size smoothie from the one they order. There will be a DJ and more giveaways as part of the celebration. One customer from throughout the weekend will win free smoothies for a year.

The Planet Smoothie franchise began in 1995 in Atlanta and now has more than 130 stores across the country.
