Hatboro-Area Vets Get Free Bagel On Veterans Day

HATBORO, PA — Military vets in the Hatboro area planning ahead for Veterans Day can pencil in a free bagel to start their holiday.

Manhattan Bagel Company, with four locations in Montgomery County, is offering a free bagel and cream cheese to all veterans on Monday, Nov. 11. The one-day offer also is open to active duty military personnel.

"Manhattan Bagel has offered this promotion to veterans for over 15 years as a way to say thank you for your service," said company spokesman Dave Roemer. "We are happy to share a little joy with our service men and women and we hope this small gesture shows our support for them."

No purchase is necessary for the promotion. Veterans and active-duty personnel must show their military ID.
