The initiative is designed to help Hatboro restaurants while the borough moves through the reopening stages of Gov. Tom Wolf's coronavirus plan. After the first two weekends, borough officials will reevaluate plans based on what's going on with reopening at the time.
People will be asked to remove their vehicles from Williams Lane on the next two Thursdays to help set up the outdoor dining area. Meter bags will be placed on Williams Lane to discourage people from using metered parking spaces.
