Hatboro Holiday Parade 2019 Is Nov. 24

This year's parade is expected to have more than 100 units with 4,000-5,000 participants.

HATBORO, PA — On the Sunday before Thanksgiving, Hatboro will be kicking off the holiday season with its 59th annual Hatboro Holiday Parade.

The parade is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 24. This year's theme is "Santa's Coming To Town."

It will start at 2 p.m. in downtown Hatboro and the route will primarily travel down York Road.

"Each year, thousands of spectators line up along the York Road parade route to celebrate and share in this season of thankfulness and hope," said Timothy Schultz, the Hatboro Chamber of Commerce president and parade chairman. "We want to showcase the borough's terrific businesses and community spirit with this colorful and lively free family event which is the largest celebration of its kind in Montgomery County."

This year's parade is expected to have more than 100 units with 4,000-5,000 participants. It will include floats, high school marching bands, string bands, military units, youth and dance groups, fire and rescue units, scouts, community groups, public officials and more.

The Phillie Phanatic will be on hand to lead the parade and Chris Gabriell, owner of the McDonald's in Hatboro, will be grand marshal.
