Hatboro Holiday Parade Takes Different Route For 2020 (ICYMI)

This year's parade will travel through neighborhoods to give more space and is dedicated to essential workers.

HATBORO, PA — With coronavirus cases on the upswing, organizers are still planning to hold Hatboro's annual holiday parade. But, in 2020, they'll be bringing the parade to the community.

The parade, in its 60th year, is scheduled for 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020.

This year, instead of drawing crowds to York Road, the parade will wind throughout Hatboro. Vehicles in the parade will drive through neighborhoods so those wishing to watch won't have to gather in big crowds, the Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce announced.

It also is dedicated this year to "all the essential workers of Hatboro, that keep Hatboro safe each and every day of the year," organizers said.

They suggest that folks coming out to watch the parade wear masks and maintain social distancing in front of their homes.
