Hatboro-Horsham Grad, 'Made The World A Better Place,' Dies At 40
Hatboro-Horsham's John Grier played football in high school and college and "brought happiness to all he touched," his obituary states.

HORSHAM, PA — It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of John Grier. John passed on Friday July 20, 2018. John was born at Abington Hospital in Abington Pennsylvania on January 25, 1978. John was 40 years of age at his passing. John was born to parents William Thomas III and Barbara Ann Grier.
John was a graduate of Hatboro - Horsham Senior High School, graduating in 1996 and attended Mansfield University. John was employed at Transworld Systems Inc. John is survived by his brothers William IV, Eric and Chris and sisters in law Patty and Maria. He was the nephew of Richard Arlen Grier, Gary and Cynthia Gantz and Karena Stellar. John was a cousin to Michael and Janine Gantz. John was the uncle to Robin, Melissa, C.J. and Jake Grier.

John played football in high school and college. He won the Maxell award and was a starting player every year he played in high school and college. He was a fan of the Eagles, Flyers, Sixers and Phillies. He loved sports, comic books, movies, video games and a good book. John was curious about the world and universe around him. He always strived to learn.
John was the friend and coworker to many wonderful people.

John provided companionship, joy and happiness to all those he touched. He was one of the few people who made the world that much better to live in. When John left you, you had a smile on your face and laughter in your heart.
A gathering of family and friends will held on Friday July 27th, from1pm to 3pm in the Schneider Funeral Home. 431 North York Rd. Hatboro Pa. A celebration of life will be scheduled approximately two months from now. The date and time are to be determined.
