Hatboro-Horsham Graduate, Master-Sgt In Army With 35 Years of Service, Passes Away

HATBORO, PA -- Francis “Frank” E. Huff, Jr. of Feasterville and former long time resident of Hatboro, died Oct 24,2016. He was 64. Born in Abington, he was the son of the late Francis E. and Frances C. (Kessler) Huff.

He was a graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School, the class of 1969. Francis served in the Army reserves achieving the rank of Master Sargent after 35 years. He was a motor pool supervisor for the former Willow Grove Naval Air Base retiring in 2007.

Francis was a rare man whose passion was helping his family and many friends. We will all greatly feel the loss of this incredible man who insisted his name should be Mr. Wonderful.

He is survived by his wife Kathy Paul; two daughters, Mary Lynn (Michael) and Lindsay (Chino); his son Francis “Turtle” (Heather), step son Stephen Carroll (Tracy), their mother Betty Huff (Ray), five grandchildren, Emma, Bailey, Avery, Alexander and Kane; brother William (June) and many cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Linda, and his grandson Xavier.

Friends and family are invited to attend his viewing from 7 to 9 pm, Friday, October 28, 2016 in James R. Baskwill Funeral Home, 20 W. Montgomery Ave (half block west of York Rd) Hatboro. His interment service will be held at 10:30 Monday, Oct 31 in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
