Hatboro Man, Artist and Musician, Passes At 63

Hatboro native Gary E. Mosier will be remembered as a talented artist and musician, and founder of the Yippi-i-Odelers band.

HATBORO, PA -- Gary E. Mosier, passed away Thursday, March 2nd, 2017. He was 63.

Raised in Hatboro and residing in Quakertown, Trevose and Glenside, he was the son of Loren Gary Mosier and the late Elizabeth Anne (Dryar) Mosier.

Gary was a graduate of Upper Moreland High School. He was a house painter by trade as well as a talented artist and musician. He was co-founder of the Yippi-i-Odelers band or as many will recall the “Yips."

In addition to his father, Gary is survived by his sister, Marjorie Mazeffa, his brother-in-law, Gary Mazeffa, and his nephew, Douglas Mazeffa.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life from 6 to 8pm, Friday, March 10 at James R. Baskwill Funeral Home, 20 W. Montgomery Ave (half block west of York Rd), Hatboro. Private interment.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Gary Mosier’s name to the Salvation Army/Elderly Services, 701 N. Broad St., Phila., PA 19123 or your favorite charity.
