Hatboro Man Assaulted Woman Twice: Police

He was arrested the following day, when he returned to his victim's residence for a third time, according to police.

HATBORO, PA — A Hatboro man is under arrest after police say he attacked the same woman twice in the same day, strangling her and sending her to the hospital. His arrest, police say, came when he returned to his victim's residence a third time.

Anthony M. Bright, 32, was arrested at 1:41 p.m. Tuesday on multiple charges, according to the Hatboro Police Department. The arrest stemmed from two incidents the day before.

The first happened at 12:54 a.m. when, according to police, Bright assaulted a 32-year-old woman, with whom he lived, and took her cellphone. He ran away before officers arrived and an arrest warrant was issued at that time, said police spokesman Sgt. James Petrik.
