Hatboro Officials To Host Coronavirus Virtual Town Hall

The town hall will be hosted on the borough's Facebook page and outline plans for dealing with the pandemic.

HATBORO, PA — The Borough of Hatboro will be hosting a virtual town hall to discuss current conditions regarding the new coronavirus outbreak.

The town hall is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17.

Representatives from borough council, Mayor Nancy Guenst, Police Chief James Gardner, Borough Manager Diane Hegele and school board President Jen Wilson will attend and answer questions.

The virtual town hall will be posted on the borough's Facebook page.

Officials will discuss plans for operating during the pandemic.

"We will not be discussing any medical information or making speculation on the virus itself." borough officials said in a Facebook post. "We will discuss our community response and goals and steps we are taking to keep us safe and with as little disruption as possible."

Residents and business owners will have the opportunity to participate by asking questions on Facebook or calling in to borough hall at 215-443-9100 during the virtual town hall.
