Hatboro Prepares For Huge Eagles Celebration In Case Of Win

Hatboro's York Road Business District has held huge celebrations when Philly franchises have won championships in the past.

HATBORO, PA — Hatboro's York Road Business District has held huge celebrations when Philly franchises have won championships in the past.

And if the Eagles defeat the Patriots on Feb. 4 for the first Super Bowl ring in franchise history, authorities are not expecting things to be any different.

Police released a notice on Thursday warning business owners to secure items outside of their business in case of a raucous celebration, such as trash cans, sign boards, furniture, and related items.

"While many of these spontaneous events have been largely peaceful, there have been occasions when unruly individuals have engaged in behaviors that have led to property damage," police said in the statement.

Police also urged bars serving alcohol to prevent patrons from leaving their establishment with open containers.
