Hatboro Senior Community Gets $3 Million Upgrade

HATBORO, PA — A senior living community in Hatboro has recently completed a $3 million renovation project.

Wesley Enhanced Living Upper Moreland, at 2815 Byberry Rd., had been under renovation for the past six months.

"This is a very exciting time at Wesley Enhanced Living," said Maureen Casey, executive director of Wesley Enhanced Living's Upper Moreland and Burholme communities. "Our team is thrilled to offer and collaborate in a space that better accommodates and supports resident engagement."

Wesley Enhanced Living's community in Hatboro consists of 200 apartments and cottages in a total of 184,000 square feet. New renovations include:

  • an updated lobby area and main dining room
  • addition of a bistro and pub restaurant
  • development of a movie theater and fireplace lounge
  • creation of a TV lounge with expanded seating
  • a renovated gift shop, library and chapel

Last week, staff hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the renovations. The ceremony was attended by residents, friends and family of those at the senior living community in Hatboro.
