Someone called 911 Friday morning claiming there was a shooting with multiple victims and the shooter still on the scene.
HATBORO, PA — Police in Hatboro are letting residents know that a report of a shooting Friday morning was fake.
According to the Hatboro Police Department, someone called 911 Friday morning and reported a shooting with multiple victims on West Monument Avenue. The shooter was reported to still be on the scene in the call, police said.
Officers arrived and found that there was no shooting and determined the 911 call to be false.
