When did you go into business?
2007
How did you come up with the name?
“I came up the name because I had 2 tabby cats at the time and was trying to be creative.”
Why start a business here?
“I began the business for my love of animals and the desire to work with them. Also, the dog industry has grown greatly and people think of dogs as family members. The dogs/cats I care for are treated like my own pets.”
What business are you in?
“I sit dogs both in my home or theirs---do daily dog walking for busy owners & cat care in their homes.”
What’s the most difficult moment or challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?
“The biggest challenge I have faced is when one of my dogs moves out of town or passes away. I truly do miss them.”
What’s been your favorite moment/proudest achievement since opening?
“My favorite moments are when I see the dogs dragging their owners so excited to come into my home or I see them in the community and they get so excited that its me. A dog is unable to speak yet it tells its owner a million words with its body language. That in itself is fascinating.”
How does your business give back/get involved in the community?
”My business supports Bethany Christian Services in Fort Washington, PA, a Christian adoption service. I also support Chariots for Hope in Dresher, PA which supports orphanages in Kenya , Africa. I also support Stray Cat Blues in Colmar, PA, a cat/kitten adoption service.
