Hatboro Waives Noise Ordinance, Will Repave York Road Overnight

Officials are hopeful this will allow the project to be completed more quickly and cause less of an inconvenience to residents.

HATBORO, PA — On Monday, the Hatboro Borough Council approved a waiver of the noise ordinance to allow PennDOT crews to mill and pave York Road overnight.

Officials are hopeful this will allow the project to be completed more quickly and cause less of an inconvenience to residents.

The project is expected to begin near the end of August and continue through early September, officials said.

The milling and paving will start at the south end of hte road, near Newington Drive, and continue north to County Line Road.

The borough said PennDOT has promised to keep the loudest of the work they plan on - like jackhammering - to the daylight hours.
